Corrosion And Protection Of Metal Materials
From November 2017 the course CORROSION AND PROTECTION OF METAL MATERIALS will be held at the headquarters of AIM (FAST Congress Center), Piazzale Rodolfo Morandi 2 Milan, co-organized by the Corrosion Study Center of the Italian Association of Metallurgy and by the Order of the Engineers of the Province of Milan.
The course is structured in thematic modules:
- I Module, November 7-8-9, 2017: General Introduction to Corrosion.
- II Module, November 22-23, 2017: Atmospheric corrosion and protection by coating.
- III Module, December 13-14, 2017: Corrosion in off-shore environment, terrain and cathodic protection.
- IV Module, January 17-18, 2018: Corrosion in power generation facilities.
In this context our expert Giovanni Stella will hold the course “Corrosion in the soft water: water classification, encrusting power, aqueducts” on December 14, 2017 (III Module).

17th Non Destructive Test Congress – Monitoring and Diagnostics
The 17th AIPnD Biennial PnD-MD Congress will be held on 25th, 26th and 27th October 2017 at the Atahotel Expo Fiera (Pero, Milan), organized by the AIPnD (Italian Association of Non Destructive Tests), to which our expert Carlo Fossati will partecipate as speaker in the PRESSURE EQUIPMENT Workshop, scheduled for Friday 27 October 2017, and will discuss the topic “Evaluation of the state of conservation of equipment as a result of material degradation”.
