MEQUON — Lake Country Lutheran’s boys golf team took second place at the third Midwest Classic Conference mini-meet of the season, totaling 162 strokes at Mee-Kwon Park Golf Course on Thursday.
The Lightning finished four strokes back of University School. Senior Noah Eimon led LCL with a 39, putting him second individually, while junior Luke Hlavachek and senior Brandt Hlavachek carded a 41 and 42, respectively.
Brookfield Academy came in third with a 173, while St. John’s Northwestern Academies/Chesteron Academy was fourth (179). The Lancers were paced by senior Alvaro Villagran Molina, who posted a 41, and senior Andrew Andrew Nelson (42).
