WAUWATOSA — Waukesha’s coop boys lacrosse team rallied late but it wasn’t enough as it dropped a 6-5 nonconference decision to the Wauwatosa Blazers Friday evening.

The Nighthawks trailed 5-2 entering the final period and finished with 24 shots. Ian Menzel scored two goals for Waukesha, while Jaxson Jahr distributed two assists.

Bode Bond had eight saves in net. Louis Smith controlled 10 of his 15 face-off attempts and also posted a team-high seven ground balls.
