WASHINGTON COUNTY — Easter is only a few days away, and many Washington County families have opportunities to get out and have some festive fun, with egg hunts being held around the county.
Many different organizations and municipalities have put out announcements for these egg hunts.
As of today, dates, times and locations of hunts in the county (by municipality) include:
â– The West Bend Lions Club is hosting its annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Regner Park, 800 N. Main St., West Bend.
â– The Mill is holding its annual egg hunt on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at Woodlawn Union Park, 1200 Wacker Drive, Hartford.
â– Signicast is also holding its own egg hunt after The Mill Easter Egg Hunt. Area residents will be able to meet the Easter Bunny and search for Easter eggs in the Signicast Family Aquatic Center, 125 N. Rural St., starting at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
■Slinger’s annual Easter egg hunt is scheduled to take place rain or shine on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Firemen’s Park, 116 Parkway Drive, Slinger.
â– Newburg rescheduled its Easter egg hunt due to weather and will now be hosting it on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Doc Weber Park, 6871 Hickory Road, Newburg.
â– St. Jacobi Congregational Church is hosting an egg hunt at Richfield Fire Station 1, 2008 Highway 175, that will take place from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m on Saturday. All proceeds benefit the Richfield Volunteer Fire Department.
■Germantown Park & Recreation announced that its Easter egg hunt was rescheduled to Saturday at 11 a.m. at Firemen’s Park, W162-N11900 Park Ave., Germantown.
■Jackson’s Easter egg hunt was postponed until further notice due to weather on March 22. No new date or location has been announced yet, but updates will be posted on the village of Jackson Facebook page.
It is important to note that this is not a definitive list, and is comprised only of the hunts the Daily ÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼ could find. There may be others in or around the area that are not listed.
